Bizarre Exclusives (“we”, “us”, “our”) designs and creates custom, handmade furniture and décor items. Each piece is uniquely crafted and may vary slightly in appearance.

2. Use of Website
You agree to use this website for lawful purposes only and in a way that does not infringe on the rights of others or restrict their use of the website.
You may not:
• Misuse or interfere with the website
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or data
• Use content for commercial purposes without written permission

3. Products & Custom Orders
• All furniture is handcrafted and may contain natural variations in wood, grain, texture, colour, tone, knots, movement, and finish. These are inherent characteristics of natural materials and are not considered defects.
• Custom orders are made according to specifications approved by the customer.
• Standard builds typically require 7–10 working days.
• Custom orders may require longer timeframes depending on complexity and specifications.
• Orders may experience slight delays due to supplier wood availability, material sourcing constraints, load shedding, or unforeseen operational circumstances.
• Once production has begun, custom orders cannot be cancelled or changed unless agreed in writing.

4. Pricing & Payments
• All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) unless stated otherwise.
• Prices may change without notice.
• All orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit to commence production.
• The remaining 50% balance is due upon collection or delivery.
• Items will only be released once full payment has reflected and cleared.
• Payment confirms acceptance of these Terms.

5. Delivery & Collection
• Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to production schedules or unforeseen circumstances.
• Delivery is subject to weather conditions.
• Delivery schedules may depend on area grouping and route planning.
• The customer is responsible for ensuring correct delivery details and adequate access.
• Additional labour required due to restricted access (stairs, narrow entries, long carry distances, etc.) may incur additional charges.
• Risk in the product passes to the customer upon delivery or collection.

6. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
Because our products are custom-made:
• Deposits are strictly non-refundable.
• No cancellations are permitted once an order has been confirmed and production has commenced.
• No refunds or returns are offered for custom-built or made-to-order items unless the item is defective in terms of the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
• Any defects must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
• Normal wear and tear, misuse, environmental exposure, wood movement due to climate conditions, or damage after delivery is not covered.
• Any discretionary refunds will exclude material, labour, and administrative costs already incurred.

7. Product Guarantee & Warranties
• All items are sold “as is”, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.
• No guarantees or warranties are provided beyond the agreed specifications and those required under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa.
• Natural characteristics of wood and handcrafted materials — including grain variation, colour variation, knots, minor surface irregularities, texture differences, and seasonal expansion or contraction — are not defects and do not qualify for replacement or refund.
• We do not guarantee exact colour matching to images displayed online, as lighting, screen settings, and natural materials may vary.
• Any additional guarantees must be agreed upon in writing and signed by both parties.

8. Revisions & Workmanship
• Each order includes one round of basic revisions to ensure quality and client satisfaction.
• Additional or extensive revisions beyond the initial round may be subject to a workmanship revision fee.

9. Ownership & Right of Repossession
• Ownership of any product remains with Bizarre Exclusives until full payment has been received and cleared.
• The client only assumes ownership once payment has been made in full.
• In the event of non-payment, failed payment, or payment reversal, Bizarre Exclusives reserves the right to repossess the product without notice.
• Any costs incurred in the recovery or legal enforcement relating to the product will be for the client’s account.

10. Force Majeure
Bizarre Exclusives shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Natural disasters, fire, floods, severe weather, load shedding, power outages, supplier shortages, transport disruptions, labour disputes, government restrictions, or other unforeseen events.
In such circumstances, turnaround and delivery times may be extended accordingly without penalty or liability.

11. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including images, designs, logos, text, and branding — is the property of Bizarre Exclusives and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• Bizarre Exclusives will not be held liable for any damage, injury, or loss arising from the use, handling, or installation of any product or service once full payment has been received and ownership has transferred to the client. Upon full payment, the client assumes full responsibility for the product and or service.
